Collection: Melody Millward

Hello everyone! I have had the opportunity to join TOWTDA as an artist. I am very excited to be here and get to know all of you. Both digital art and diamond painting have been a large part of my life during the last 5 years. I started both around the same time in 2018 as I was recovering from a traumatic brain injury. My neurologist suggested activities that made me use certain parts of my brain to help in recovery and I have been hooked on both ever since.

My images are created using a variety of digital techniques. I start with a very basic outline in an AI program (similar to Midjourney) and then moved to the Adobe suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) to be completed and modified to fit my creative thought process and end goal. The digital world has allowed me to create and share my art when I may otherwise have been unable to with my brain injury.

My art is a mix of many genres but I truly love dark thought provoking subjects as well as fantasy. I love all things horror, the outdoors, and true crime so these themes will often be melded into my work. I am also an avid photographer on the side so many of my digital art pieces tend to be 'portrait' style images of people.
